This video explores the idea of indulgence in a playful and slightly over-the-top way. I was inspired by Marie Antoinette and Fancy Nancy, so I leaned into a world that feels whimsical, dramatic, and a little chaotic in a fun way. There is a sense of humor throughout, and that balance between elegance and playfulness was really important to me. I wanted the piece to feel imaginative and slightly surreal, transforming food into couture and performance into an editorial spectacle.
Directed, shot, and edited with a team of four.
I was inspired by Alysa Liu’s 2026 Olympic figure skating performance and the way figure skating blends sport with fashion and performance. I used the same song from her performance in my stop motion piece because I wanted to carry over that emotional tone and connect my interpretation directly to the original moment. The skating character is made from pasta as the body, baby’s breath flowers as the dress, and a raspberry as the head. The blueberries act as the audience, reinforcing the idea that fashion and performance both rely on being watched.
At the end, "FLAUNT" is spelled out to tie the piece directly to the magazine and frame the skating performance as a fashion spectacle. This piece explores the intersection of food and fashion. My professor’s specialty.

Collision of luxury silver with rodeo-worn denim. Like a needle in a haystack. The intricacy is subtle but unmistakable.
Layered images of my own face. Stacked to blur the line between still and moving. Controlled chaos. Being both model and editor made it feel more personal.

A fashion drop for North Carolina native brand Texas Pete. Bright red peppers, flames, and luxury. The pepper shoe is my favorite. You can tell it relates to Texas Pete with no branding. Luxurious but true to the client’s image.
